My Mood:
Okay, normally I try to stay out of these posts because I get very frustrated at many of the same things everyone else does, but I tend to have a different perspective on a couple of issues, namely randoms and River.

I HATE working gags in boss fights, especially sound. While I appreciate you're proud of your horn, don't use it on lured cogs and don't use it on a 12. And if your piano isn't maxed, please don't drop the 12 alone because we don't know it's weak if you don't tell us. Most of all I hate selfishness and stupidity, where toons only think of what they want to do and not the good of the team.

Quitie frankly, when I joined CCG 5 months ago I was thrilled, no shuffle and good boss fights, along with very good friends. I still very much appreciate the CCG and what it stands for, but I frequently take my boss fights to River. I try and make the runs when I can for CCG, and I love the marathons. But right now I tend to run in River frequently for a number of reasons. If I want a shuffle it's not much worse for me in River these days. I can get a good elevator wherever I go and most toons are pleasant and team players. Do I run into glitchers and stinkers? Darn tootin I do, but it keeps me on my toes and I haven't gone green yet.

I appreciate CCG for what it stands for. I highly recommend the training runs, I love em. I love the marathons and all the wonderful friends I play with. I love the ubers and small toons and I will work my monkey heart out to keep everybody laffing and dancing at the end. But it has become discouraging lately, and unlike those who are nervous about "randoms" I don't share that concern. I got to Hollywood and Baron before I ever found CCG, and was well on my way to Big Wig. Maybe coming up the "hard way" taught me a few lessons that serve me well now. I'm not saying you're wrong to be nervous or reluctant, it's a difference in individual comfort levels.

Shuffling, bad behavior, etc., is everywhere on Toontown because it's inhabited by toons, but seeing so much of it in CCG has truly made me discouraged. And as for the remarks about running with "randoms," weren't we all randoms once? I came in as a random and always played my best. I meet very nice randoms in factories, mints, and DA's. I run into very nice CCG players as well and am happy to go in with anyone - random or CCG - regardless of if they have sound or not, are maxed in gags or not, or have a bad attitude or not. If your attitude is bad you will find out it doesn't work with me very well. And if you expect me to waste my tu on you when you're stinking me, think again. It's amazing how a toon's attitude can turn more team player when their laff gets down to about 10.

In closing I leave you with this disclaimer. The opinions stated in this post are my own. They are in no way reflective of the the beliefs of CCG, any toon living or dead, or anybody else who I know is going to take exception to my own humble opinions. All runs I do with CCG are under the guidelines of CCG, I follow the rules to the letter, I do not shuffle, I pack on, I do LLKR, and I continue to say "You rock" to those I think need education in more areas than there is time to list, and no matter what I think of their gag choice I do not stink them or make unfriendly comments via speed chat. I shall continue to come when I can to the runs because there are many wonderful toons there, JUST LIKE THERE ARE EVERYWHERE ELSE.
