Our site carries a G-rating. Often people don't read our policies to realize this. Our members are moderated for 3-4 weeks after their membership to protect our G-rating. If, during the time that someone is in moderation, it is apparent that they have troubles posting with our g-rating in mind, we can educate them on where to find our
policies and help answer questions for them. This moderation period helps us monitor their posting practices.
Also, because we are such a large fansite, we get a lot of registrations for people that don't even play Toontown and they simply want to advertise something. This moderation period *usually* protects you, the member, from seeing these posts. Most often, advertisers will post these things within the first 3-4 weeks or not at all. We rarely have someone post advertisements past this 3-4 week period.
