Also, the HQs on the streets have different tasks from the playground.
Poor Miss F, my first toon through DDL, thought you just had to take the best task on the list the first HQ officer gives you. So she defeated 400 2+ story buildings, 250 micromanagers and 280 tightwads to complete DDL! OOF! But she maxxed her trap in those buildings (alone lol).

Yes correct, different district, same HQ same tasks.
Different HQ same District, different tasks.
However in doing research for HQ tasks for Dogfathers Complete Task guides, I have noticed that you tend to get the same tasks repeating after looking a while, so search around, but don't take too long, as you may have already completed the tasks you were skipping, if you spend too much time looking around.
If you take a task, the tasks will change, so search same places again.
Shops again have different tasks, so worth searching them aswell.
Rules of thumb is:
1) Don't take the first tasks that are offered
2) Search around Playground/Street HQ's and Shops for widest selection
3) If you take a task, then new tasks will apear where you've just looked
4) Most go to Shopkeeper tasks can't be skipped (but some can)
5) Try to get cogs anywhere, or tasks that allow flexible cog searching (Try to avoid large numbers of cog types or cog ranges)
6) Getting tasks for lots of builds, or high level builds is all well and good, but make sure you have ability to do them quickly, ideally solo, or with friends. If you rely on randoms in busy dists, remember this, chasing builds and getting there in time is not always that easy!
7) Getting tasks for in HQ's or cogs that are in HQ's as may seem good idea, but if you not strong enough to do so, you may struggle to get in the part of HQ you need!
8) When picking tasks, look at what you have already, and try to match up tasks when picking.
9)If you have just taken a 'goto shop keeper task', then go and speak to shop keeper, find out what he wants you to do, you may be able to match up you tasks with what shopkeeper is asking then.
10) Goto the growing/developing Complete task guide by Dogfather, this will help you find out most tasks before you even take them, especially shopkeeper ones.
