New to The Fishing Hole forum
Hi everyone! Love to fish and glad to be here! I've caught 58 so far, have the gold rod. I'm going to adopt the new strategy of staying put, switching districts and pulling out more than one bucket. I do have my favorite pier at each pond! My old strategy was to go down the line (from TTC playground back to my estate), taking only one bucket from each pond (14 in all). I never thought to switch districts--good idea!
Here are the last 12 fish I need. At this point, I want to get to 60 fish not for the laff point but just for (family) bragging rights!
Very rare: old king, half moon, kodiac, scurvy
Extremely rare: siamese
Ultra rare: concord, all star, devil ray, full moon, grizzly, grand, baby grand
Here are my comments/questions:
1. How are the odds of catching (rare) fish at friends' estate's ponds? Should I ask to fish in their ponds? Is it worth my time?
2. From the list above, I am correct in NOT spending time fishing in the following ponds: Silly Street, Barnacle Boulevard, Oak Street, Baritone Boulevard, Polar Place, Pajama Place.
3. My husband says if he could do it all over again, he'd catch all the fish needed with the twig then move on to the next rod. Catch all the fish needed with that rod then move on to the next rod. And so forth. His theory is that we screwed ourselves and won't catch the lightweight fish with the gold rod. Do you believe this to be correct?
Hope to see you all around, and thanks for your input!
