In VP last night there was a toon who actually started trying to make a lower laff toon (59 or so) go sad early in the first round, after another player on her side had already gone sad. Maybe she blamed the lower laff toon for the other toons "sadness," I don't know, but I can't see how making yet another toon go sad would help the situation. Apparently, right from the start of the battle she began saying "I think this is too risky for you," withheld toon up through both battles, and woke up lured cogs with sound. Both times the two toons were on a side with only three, both times with one of my friends, who were appalled by the behavior of the vindictive toon. Luckily, they each managed to bring their "teams" through the battles. One of my friends said that the smaller toon was actually a very smart player (must have been, to stay happy through that!)
