There was a nice turnout for our afternoon Wednesay A.T.T.A. Fishing Fiesta. We had two groups that fished for over an hour and a half. Between the two groups, there were EIGHT NEW SPECIES FOUND!
KIDS AND A.T.T.A.
I want to note here that my daughter was sick today and attended the Fishing Fiesta. Claudia and her are SFs and she was nice enough to include her. Thanks Claudia!
Right now our group is very loose and we have not set any "official" rules yet. I'd like to start a conversation here about kids and our group. Where do they fit in? Are they *sometimes* welcome at our group events? Or would we prefer completely "kid-free" events?
So far, since the group began, I have included "children" SFs of mine in a Building Buster run when we were a toon down to do our buildings, and allowed my daughter to participate in Fishing Bingo when she was sick at home. Obviously I'm not adverse to including kids. I'd like to hear from other people to know how the group as a whole would like to handle it.
Also, I wouldn't be adverse to us parents in A.T.T.A. helping our kids find appropriate SFs through our group. One of my SFs has a younger child who she was looking an age appropriate friends for her.
I figure it's probably about time we start making this all a bit more OFFICIAL. This is as good a start as any.
