I have been bestowed with the honor of being the Thug Run caller for the month of July. I figured that since this run lands on July 5th, that the theme will be a Post Fourth of July Party. Also, my birthday is coming up soon and MonkeyMan’s birthday will have just passed, so there are a few things that are being thrown in to celebrate this as well. I am hoping that there will be a really good attendance. This is a run that is very relaxed and meant for everyone to have a good time. If you have never attended before, come check it out…..you just might like it! Just don’t be afraid to go green, it can happen at one of these runs.


Since this is a Post Fourth of July Party, I would love to see everyone sporting their red, white & blue outfits. If you don’t have any, just come in your best party outfit.

Toon-up – Feathers - because I am a duck & I can’t go anywhere without them
Megaphone – this is a Fourth of July party & we need to be Loud!
Lipstick – we are all friends & let’s share the love
Dancing cane – wouldn’t be a party without dancing
High Dive – show off your best dive
Of course Doodles are always welcome & should be shown off as much as possible

Trap – banana peels – bring them for a certain stinky b-day monkey
Marbles – a little outdoor summer fun
TNT – fireworks for the Fourth

Lure – $1, $5 and $10 bills. – great for some fishing fun on the lake
Hypno-Goggles – only allowed to bring one (you just need one pair of sunglasses)
Sound – all sound is allowed except for the Opera Singer – this is a Fourth of July party, so we want to be loud but we are not at an Opera, so she is not invited. What, you are soundless…..no worries I know you soundless toons are plenty loud enough!

Throw – pie slices & whole pies – great for a picnic
B-day cake – I was only going to allow one to celebrate my B-day but since it is Stinky Monkey’s b-day too (I don’t want to share mine with him), I am going to allow two.

Squirt – all squirt except storm clouds are allowed – It’s July & it is hot out there. We need to cool off but we do not want any rain to ruin our party.

Drop – flower pot – pretty flowers for decoration
Sandbag – we need to fill those sandboxes (we just need to keep those kitties away from them!)
Piano – you can bring one - only if you can play a catchy tune that we can all dance to
Toontanic – for those that want to take a cruise around the lake

The only SOS cards that are allowed to be used are the sound ones – remember we want to be loud.
No Unites unless absolutely necessary! Well, except for JB ones, of course – let the beans fly, it’s a party after all.
