All you have to do is water the plants, then they just spring back. If the trees are brown, water them. The next day they will be green, the day after they will have gags again, as long as they were already mature. Keep in mind that when they are brown, you do
not have the point boost in your gag track! I made that mistake the other day, LOL. You get it back the next day when they first turn green again, however. You don't have to wait for the gags to be available again.
In my experience, it seems that you have to water more frequently, when the trees are actively growing, before they reach maturity. If they do go brown, then you just have to wait those extra days they were brown until they reach maturity. You don't have to replant or start over by any means.
Everything recovers quickly, but it will look horrible when you get back!
