Even though the next Thug Thursday falls on the day after Valentine’s Day, I still wanted to do a Valentine theme. So, the theme for the next Thug Thursday will be “The Cheap Date” (or you can also call it “My Cheap Valentine”).
Date: Thursday, February 15
Time: VP at 9pm EST, CFO 10pm EST (or whenever the VP ends 
)
District: Kooky Grove (Backup: Kookywood)
Gags (same for both VP and CFO):
TU –
- megaphone (some jokes to lighten the mood)
- lipstick (Bonnie Bell of course!)
- cane (might as well dance since conversation isn’t getting anywhere)
Trap –
- bananas (on the banana split sundae from 31 Flavors)
- TNT (the ‘bang’ you were hoping for when you brought your date to McDonalds)
Sound –
- bike horn (to let your date know you’ve arrived…you can’t afford a car)
- trumpet (playing taps at this point)
- elephant trunk (zoo has free admission for couples on Valentine's Day)
Lure –
- only magnets (hoping pure magnetism will help…no money since you are broke and goggles just make you look like a geek)
Throw (sweets for the sweet) -
- your choice of any throw except birthday cake (it’s a date, not a birthday party)
Squirt –
- flower (tacky corsage)
- glass of water (it’s free!)
- storm (doesn’t it just sound like the sort of date it would rain on?!)
Drop –
- flowerpot (cheaper than cut flowers)
- piano (little dinner music maybe?)
Both VP and CFO - Wear red/Valentine garb if you got it and bring any Valentine phrases you may have. While waiting in the pit and/or on the porch, tp to as many toons as you can and say something nice to them. Those Valentine phrases would be handy here! Use your level 7's, SOS's and unites however you like. Every thug knows wedding cakes will effectively take out a row of level 1 and 2 cogs, dropless toons can always use a drop unite and we all just LOVE Will!!
VP - During the VP pie fight, try to come up with some nice things to say to the VP as we drive him down the ramp, especially when he hits you with gears or drops you with one of his jumps. Throwing pies at other toons is a great way to say I love you, so lets watch each other’s lp’s and be sure to pie someone who looks like they need it (getting hit by gears can be pretty painful *wink, wink*). Follow that with a hearty "Love ya!" and the mood gets downright festive!
CFO - the stompers get to run around in the beginning of the crane round and wave to the craners (another good place for those valentine phrases). If the craners stink them for it, we know it's just their way of saying they love us. Oh, and let’s be sure the CFO feels our love before he runs in front of that train!
