Ho Dang!
Wow, just wow. Thank you SO much for this post! My brother is a comp. sci. major and seriously tried everything to fix this and could not figure it out. But this worked extremely well and I'm so glad to have my game back. I kept getting shut out in VP battles and I'd nearly start crying!
I have a Linksys router, Model WRT54G and what I ended up doing was different than everything that was posted. I don't know if it's just my router or perhaps the model, but it would not let me just edit the Triggering as aforementioned.
First, I had to hit the QoS tab under Applications and Gaming. I enabled the functions and then under Optimize Gaming Applications I entered the two ports and put them on high priority. It wouldn't let me save like this, so if you have this problem then what I did was put Upstream Bandwidth on Manual and entered 10000. I don't know why it made me do that, but it did, so whatever.
After that I went to Port Triggering and did as stated above.
When I did the Port Triggering first, without doing what I did in the QoS menu it would not let me save because of "pre-existing settings" which I assume were the pre-existing blocks on either one or both of the Toontown ports. Linksys should really be notified and start changing their routers to include those two ports. It would save a lot of hassle.
I hope I helped!
Thanks again everyone!
