Hi everyone
Well I had my surgery/proceedure on Friday and just got out of bed today for the first time. Unfortunately, the proceedure didn't work and I will now have to start all over to figure out what's wrong with me. My team of doctors are frustrated and flustered to say the least...you know surgeons, if they can't fix you by cutting you open, then they shuffle you off to assorted specialists who in turn shuffle you back...it's a never ending cycle that I've been going through now for almost a year. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that this is how I'm going to spend my life, in constant pain...I will learn to deal with it I suppose, but it stinks!
I actually feel well enough today to function at some level, maybe even bake a batch of brownies for my ever patient and wonderful hubby Bill who was never more than a holler away this entire weekend..I got meals in bed, leg/foot rubs, magazines, balloons, candy and lots of comfort, even when I was not so nice to be around, he never made me feel like a burden. I am blessed
I have a word of caution for anyone contemplating taking the medication CYMBALTA...DONT DO IT!!! It's a toxic poison and I wouldn't wish that $#@@ on even my worst enemy. I would be more than happy to provide you with more information if you would like...just PM me. There are many many different medications that you can use in place of Cymbalta....speak with your physican and ask for an alternate medication.
I look forward to getting back into the swing of things and I have missed you all very much. Thank you to everyone for the PM's and Instant Messages...Jessica your get well post made my day, on a day that I didn't think I would make it through..thank you for always thinking of me, and ILY too doggie buddy!!!
