Mastering the turns isn't so much about speed as it is about timing. You need to know WHEN to turn to make it. You should start off on Screwball Stadium. The Middle Turn on this track is a lazy curve and you can test your turning timing here pretty good.

You want to start out on the far outside. Just on or outside of the yellow line. When the turn starts to come, try to visualize a line that runs from the outside, skinning the inside wall, and then curving back outside. Practice running that line until you get it. You should be able to hit that turn at full speed and come out without squealing your tires once. Once you figure this out, applying the same technique to other turns is a matter of timing and knowing the degree of that turn.

I hold three of the top ten ALL TIME records on the Blizzard Blvd Track. My best time ever was done with the Coupe that everyone starts with. If you practice the races enough, you will learn the timing of the turns. Once that happens you will start to race faster.

Now, in order to win, you need strategy. There are several posts about strategy, but let me point out some key ones.

1. Banana Corners where people tend to hit the wall.
2. Banana the Speed Strips.
3. Use anvils when the person is just about to a Speed strip. You want the anvil to hit the person as soon after they cross the strip as possible. This cancels their speed boost.
