Letting it air dry can leave spots. Dry it with a soft cloth, wiping from the center of the disk to the outer edge. Do NOT dry it in circles - you want to wipe away from the center going outwards, all the way around.
A soft cloth should be something like a very old cotton t-shirt - CLEAN.
